My Squishy Vault

Privacy information

How collection information and optional shared Showcases are handled.

Version-specific notice: This page describes the My Squishy Vault prototype and previously tested Cloudflare Showcase implementation. The currently distributed app and live cloud configuration must be checked before this notice is used for an App Store submission. This is not yet a finalized release policy.

Who we are

My Squishy Vault is a MilanMerch, LLC project for organizing collections of squishy toys. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information saved in your Vault

The prototype supports item names, categories, photos, ratings, favorites, wish lists, descriptions and details such as when or where an item was obtained. The reviewed prototype stores collection records on the device or in the browser being used. Exported backup files may contain collection information and should be stored and shared carefully.

Optional shared Showcases

The separately developed Cloudflare Showcase feature allows a user to deliberately publish selected collection items, photos, descriptions and ratings using a shareable link. Earlier implementation records describe a user-selected Showcase Name and Vault Tag; choose nicknames instead of real names or identifying details. The previously tested service stores Showcase metadata in Cloudflare D1 and published images in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Published photographs are delivered to people with access to the Showcase link.

Showcases were designed to be read-only, link-only by default and not publicly discoverable by default. Anyone who receives a shared link may be able to view or forward it; an unlisted link is not a guarantee of confidentiality. Earlier implementation records describe revocable share tokens, but revocation, deletion and current access behavior must be confirmed in the deployed version.

Children and sensitive information

My Squishy Vault is designed with younger collectors in mind. Do not place full names, school names, locations, contact information, faces, or other identifying information in Showcase names, captions, or shared photos. A parent or guardian should supervise any public or link-based sharing. The current release must be assessed for applicable children's privacy requirements, including parental notice and consent, before launch.

Accounts, advertising, and outside services

The reviewed browser prototype does not require public profiles or offer direct messaging. Its published prototype materials do not establish advertising, behavioral tracking or analytics practices for every deployed version. Cloudflare may process connection and request information to host and secure Showcase pages. No claims about additional processors or future commerce features are made until the live configuration is verified.

Control, removal and questions

Local collection information can be managed in the app or browser, subject to locally saved backups. For questions about removing a shared Showcase or its photos, email [email protected]. The operator must verify how deletion and backup retention work before stating firm processing deadlines or automatic deletion guarantees.

Changes

This notice will be updated to match the actual deployed iOS and Showcase service configuration, including data retention, sharing permissions and any third-party services.

Prepared November 4, 2026 for implementation review; not yet approved as the final App Store privacy policy.
